To celebrate the beginning of winter break and the holiday season, ASB will be hosting a senior movie night for San Luis Obispo High School seniors tonight!
From seven to nine p.m. “Home Alone” will be playing in the big gym, and seniors are encouraged to bring their friends and enjoy the event.
“We’re hosting a movie night, so that all seniors can hang out together, especially for their last year. We have been wanting to create new traditions, in a way where it’s inclusive and accessible for the students,” said event organizer and senior Lily Puga.
There will be a bunch of snacks like pizza and popcorn for seniors attending, and to make the movie night cozier, seniors should show up in their pajamas. Bringing blankets and pillows is definitely recommended as well!
While going home and starting winter break immediately may sound tempting for seniors, they should attend this event to build more memories with the senior class.
“These are memories you are creating, even if it doesn’t have a huge turnout, it’s a memorable event. Soon enough we’ll all be graduating and we will all go our own way, and these stories are shareable and something you can bring along with you as you leave high school,” said Puga.
ASB plans many fun events throughout the year, and with seniors graduating in the spring, it is a great time to attend these events and make key memories with friends. ASB is hard at work year-round to provide SLOHS with exciting events, students should stay on the lookout for things they may want to attend.
“We have a lot of events, and lots of ideas that we will disclose in the future, but till then, seniors should definitely take advantage of all these different opportunities,” said Puga.
Senior movie night is tonight in the big gym, it’ll be an event you won’t want to miss, so make sure to show up and bring friends!
