Video games are a very popular hobby. Many students at San Luis Obispo High School play video games, so what are some that are coming out this year?
“There’s a lot of good stuff coming,” said sophomore Jayden Castillo. “’Spider man 2′ [the game] looks really fun, I think they’re looking into adding better swinging mechanics, and overall graphics couldn’t be better at this time.”
Another video game coming out in 2022 is “Breath of the Wild 2”, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch variations. The first “Breath of the Wild”was developed by Nintendo, and came out in 2017. It immediately won game of the year as well.
“I’m really excited for ‘Breath of the Wild 2’ to come out,” said sophomore Rilo Rippens.
“Breath of the Wild 2” has been long awaited by fans, and a trailer for it that came out about a year ago has been keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. But at long last, “Breath of the Wild 2” is coming out this year. Unfortunately, the exact drop date of the game has not been announced, but it is, however, known to be released sometime this winter.
One more video game coming out in 2022 is “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora”. The movie “Avatar” came out over 10 years ago in 2009, so the announcement of this video game was a shock to all. Players will now get to interact with the world of Pandora in a first-person experience. Much like “Breath of the Wild 2”, “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” is going to be an open-world adventure video game, playable on a variety of consoles and PC.
Unfortunately, just like “Breath of the Wild 2”, the exact drop date is still not announced.
The games mentioned in this article are just a few of the great ones scheduled to come out in 2022. Over 100 games are scheduled to be released, many of them with graphics and plotlines that are out of this world.
