Hey, it is April.
Yearbook is almost done, and they need your photos!
The San Luis Obispo Yearbook class is quickly approaching the April 29 deadline for the 2021 hardbound book. The class is required to turn in their electronic pages by this date so that the publisher Josten’s plant, located in Visalia, can actually print the physical copies for distribution by June.
Can you send any last minute photos to CTE Arts, Media, and Entertainment Teacher Jason Heimerdinger now?
Email potential yearbook photos to [email protected]. Do this now instead of reading the rest of this article.
“This time of year is always the most stressful time in Yearbook class because an actual drop dead due date is a crazy thing for most high school students to experience for the first time. And there is a lot of money invested, which makes it even more scary,” said former SLOHS Yearbook advisor of ten years Scott Nairne.
This year’s book advisor is SLOHS teacher Jason Heimerdinger feels confident about getting the job done, but he is putting out the last call for photos of SLOHS Clubs, Activities, Staff Life, and Student Life. He has set up an additional insert for sports and end of year activities with a deadline of June 1, but the rest of the book needs to be locked in by Thursday.
Do you have photos of yourself or other teachers in action, or fun photos from this year?
If you are in a Club or Activity, can you assure that you or your student leader is communicating with a yearbook staff member?
Yearbook collected a lot of interesting material during this unique year, but they still need a little bit more to assure that they can fill every gap before the deadline.
Remember, you can help in the building of a unique historical document.
