In our San Luis Obispo High School family there are many changes that are being made. One of them being our lovely assistant principal Jessica Miller announcing her pregnancy.
Expressions set out to congratulate Mrs. Miller and find out a couple things about her pregnancy.
Expressions: When are you expecting?
SLOHS Assistant Principal Jessica Miller: Our due date is September 18, so we are about 4 months away!
Expressions: What are you most excited about in being a parent?
Miller: There are so many things that I am looking forward to about being a parent. Most of all I am excited to bring another member into the family to learn and grow with.
Expressions: Do you know if it is a boy or girl yet?
Miller: We are having a girl.
Expressions: Has there been anything that scares you about pregnancy?
Miller: Pregnancy is a crazy adventure, but being pregnant during all this COVID-19 stuff is pretty nerve wracking. I feel like I would have been safe and cautious regardless of my situation to help protect other people, but now I am UBER cautious about everything (my husband and I probably look crazy sanitizing our groceries in our front yard each week!).
Expressions: What has been your biggest craving throughout pregnancy?
Miller: Cereal and chocolate milk.
