Local band and genuine wizards, Pancho and the Wizards, have caught the attention of many San Luis Obispo High School students throughout the recent years with their unique psych-rock, hardcore songs. On Saturday, April 6 their new album “Cemetery” was released on all music streaming platforms.
The Wizards had released a previous album last year called “The Return”, and fans have been long awaiting their return of new music. Luckily and expectedly, they delivered with a six-song EP that will totally blow your mind.
“I think the album is good because it has variety but some of the songs still sound like their old album to me. But I think it’s really dope and it’s gonna be super hype live,” said senior Maya Nitzel.
If any SLOHS students are looking to hear “Cemetery” live and in all its beauty, Pancho and the Wizards are having an album release show Friday, April 12 joined by other local bands Dudeo Perez and Distant Twins, which includes senior Joella Holmes. The rager will take place at The Warehouse on Mars, an iconic venue, at 4120 Horizon Lane in SLO.
