On January 21, Coffee Night took place at San Luis Obispo High School. The show is a series of short skits and musical performances put on by the Drama Club and other SLOHS students. Coffee Night offered all the free coffee a student can drink, as well as a large selection of free goodies.
It was a fun night at school and a large number of people attended the show. The theatre was completely filled with students and about eight people put on musical performances on stage with breaks in between acts filled with funny skits. The drama club was responsible for the little intermission shows in between each act. The skits ranged from SLOHS’s portrayal of “America’s Next Top Model”, to “Toddlers and Tiaras”, to “Chopped”.
“I sang a duet with Joella Holmes and we both played guitar, it went really well and I’m so glad and proud of our performance,” said junior Camryn Goodwin, who performed during the night.
Coffee Night is a fun way for students to showcase their comedic acts, as well as musical talents.
Students should be sure to attend and support next year’s Coffee Night.
