San Luis Obispo High School’s 2016 Fall play, “Arsenic and Old Lace”, is right around the corner. The show is directed by Drama teacher Kate Stephens and has been in the works since the third week of the school year; the play is filled with humor, wit, and chaos.
“We may have had some bumps in the road, but what performance doesn’t when being put together? Overall, I’d say the play is going to be great,” said senior actor Ryan Stokes.
“Arsenic and Old Lace” revolves around the Brewster family, who are now made up of homicidal maniacs. The main character ponders the question, ‘should I marry the person I love’? It takes place during the middle of World War II.
You can see this year’s Fall play at the SLOHS theatre at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday on October 25-29; there is also an extra matinee at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
