On May 10, Saint Joseph’s senior night, their softball team gave all of the San Luis Obispo High School softball players flowers, announced their names and which college they are attending.
“The game on Friday was kinda sad because they were super nice and got us flowers at the start of the game, but I think we all knew we were about to crush them; then we did. They are good at sports though and I think it was a very successful last game. [It was] not as fun as beating Atascadero, though, and knocking them out of first place,” said senior Sam Good.
The girls came off the field with a win of 12-0, and ended with a league record of 7-5.
The team is ready for their California Interscholastic Federation journey starting this Thursday.
