  San Luis Obispo High School students have been waiting for a great summer movie. Although there have been a few decent movies throughout the year, it is safe to say that “Happy Gilmore 2” is the most anticipated movie for many students, and the wait won’t be much longer as the movie comes out on July 25. 

  “As someone who golfs, I found the first movie really funny. It’s not entirely accurate to real-life golf, but I don’t really care,” said junior Alex Sincoff. 

  The movie is super entertaining, whether viewers have any interest in golf or not. Adam Sandler is one of the best comedians to ever do it, meaning this movie could be hilarious. 

  “Adam Sandler is one of my favorite comedians. He always makes things funny with his slapstick type comedy,” said junior Blake Schafer.

  Teenagers are always down for a quick laugh, and seeing this movie may cause just that. Also, this gives students an opportunity to hang out with their friends at the movie theater. The environment provided at the theater is unlike anywhere else, as everyone is in a good mood and excited to go sit down and be entertained. 

  “I love going to the theater downtown. Whenever I go to watch a movie there, I have a good time,” said senior Eshaan Singh.

  “Happy Gilmore 2” definitely has some shoes to fill. The first movie was an all-time classic, so there is definitely some hype built around number two. Whether this movie fills this role or not, the experience will definitely be worth the money.
