San Luis Obispo High School is approaching the end of the school year. Finals are Tuesday through Thursday, June 3-5.
Expressions asked sophomores how they are feeling and what they do to prepare for finals. Finals is something that everyone prepares for in each one of their 5 classes. Expressions asked these students on how they are feeling for these upcoming third trimester finals.
“I would say something I did before all my finals before is that I would study about two weeks before instead of studying couple of days before,” said sophomore George Ross..
Many people do have their own ways of studying but people do get to study and talk about how they study with their friends in many different ways.
“I would say I would sometimes even like to study with some of my friends, whether it is flashcards or them even quizzing me about randoms things about the class,” said sophomore
Jackson Sullivan.
Many people do study the same, whether it is studying notes or taking a study guide either way a lot of these students really wait for that score at the end.
“Last year as a freshman I really did just get to see how important it is for kids to study and what it really does to their grade, whether they are taking notes or focusing,” said sophomore Jake Giordano.
Many kids at San Luis Obispo High school do prepare for finals in a similar way but there are also many who just have unique ways of studying. Also once they get that test it does have a lot to do with higher confidence.
