Boys basketball here at San Luis Obispo High is on FIRE. As preseason comes to a close, their record heading into league stands at 14 wins and only 4 losses. With all the hard work being put in by this team, it’s safe to say this team is the real deal.
Tonight SLOHS basketball will be taking the fight to the Mission Prep Royals in a highly anticipated round one of the SLO TOWN SHOWDOWN at home. Last year tying the series with Mission 1-1 this game means everything.
“All for one, one for all. The Royals will fall,” said sophomore varsity player Beau Crew.
According to Max Preps, Mission Preps tops SLOHS in ppg (points per game average) and PA(Points Allowed) by only a difference of 3 points for each category, however SLOHS strength in schedule is much higher due to playing tougher competition, which means these two teams are very evenly matched which leads to a VERY competitive matchup.
“I’ve been waiting for this game all year, I’m super excited to be able to compete in a rival game like this,” said Senior Jace Gomes.
Remember, tonight Home, don’t forget!
