This Wednesday, September 6, San Luis Obispo High School will be holding the Club Rush. It will be at lunch in the main quad. This annual event allows clubs to promote themselves to prospective members. Each Club booth will give out information on what the club does, when it meets, and where it takes place.
“All I can say is that it will be a great experience for everyone. We have a very large club presence on campus which is a great thing as it allows people to find their own niche, and there has been several new clubs created just this week which I personally excited about,” said junior Inter-Club Commissioner Thomas Prater.
With around twenty clubs participating in Club Rush, and even more on campus, there is a club for everyone.
Model United Nations club is one of the new clubs that will be showcased at Club Rush. This club teaches students how United Nation world affairs are handled. Students go onto delegate committees and compete at different national conferences.
“We are hoping to see new faces and show off our club. I think we would do great with a strong number of students,” said MUN President junior Suraj Patel.
Make sure to stay on campus to get information on recurring and new clubs.
