On October 26, Tiger News Network (TNN) announced that the beloved lunch lady, Greta Schultz, has recently gotten out of a serious brain surgery and is on the road to recovery. Expressions asked Allison Eaton, a fellow lunch lady, what her thoughts were on how the school is coming together to gather profits for what Schultz’s insurance is not able to pay.
“I think it’s amazing, you guys are so awesome! I mean it really gives me hope for humanity that everyone is so caring. It brings tears to my eyes,” said Eaton.
There is a Facebook page called Support Greta Schultz, and Associated Student Body director Jimmy Johnson recently announced that this Friday’s powder puff game, now renamed the Greta Bowl, will donate all profits towards her recovery. There is also a GoFundMe account created by senior Max Teaford that has a goal of raising $25,000 to help with Schultz’s recovery.
Get well soon, SLOHS loves you!
