This year I was part of the San Luis Obispo Softball team, but now the season has ended.
I am a freshman and this was my first year on a school softball team. Sadly, we only have a varsity team this year, so I didn’t get much playing time. Just being part of the team was the best experience ever.
We got second place in league and got to travel up to Hanford for CIF, sadly we lost but it was fun to travel with the team, the friendships and bonds that got created this season are the best.
I want to thank all the seniors for being there and helping me and everyone else when needed, you guys are the best, your all funny and nice and caring and show it. I’m going to miss you guys, I but can’t wait to see you in the future.
We have had so many hard times and our coach was always there to help us, these are some things he would say to us, “You can’t control what you can’t control, and also, Your going to fail in softball more than your going to succeed,” said softball Coach Pete Emmel.
