San Luis Obispo High School’s band and choir will be performing tonight at the annual Winter Concert at Cal Poly Performing Arts Center. The show starts at 7:00 p.m., with free admission and parking costing $10 per car.
“We started concert season at the beginning of this trimester and worked on the songs every day in class, so about well over a hundred or so hours were spent preparing the music for this performance,” said junior Brayden Shannon.
Laguna Middle School’s band and choir will also be performing beside SLOHS in the show, making it a very exciting experience for the students and audience. The concert is to last a little over two hours and be a great entertainment for those who love Christmas music.
“Laguna Middle School choir knows the same songs as us because we have the same teacher, so both of our choirs will most likely be singing together and I’m really excited for it because I’m a senior and get to perform with the students that will be coming to SLOHS after I graduate,” said senior Kyah Yruegas.
