San Luis Obispo High School is starting it’s fifth week in the 2017-2018 school year, and so far there have already been two rallies. Rallies say a lot about the school’s amount of spirit and the way a school works. After going to a few rallies here at SLOHS they become a normal event in high school life, but for freshmen they’re still very new. Expressions asked freshman Diego Lopez what he thinks about the rallies here at SLOHS.
Expressions: Overall, what are your main thoughts on the two rallies we have had this year?
Freshman Diego Lopez: The rallies so far, they’ve been fun. There’s a lot of things that happen and it’s interesting.
Expressions: Do you have any idea what that horrible noise is that the speaker makes multiple times at every rally?
Lopez: No, I have no idea what it is, and I don’t know why it happens.
Expressions: What do you think of our spirit commissioners?
Lopez: They are very good at their jobs.
Expressions: Are you looking forward to the rest of the rallies to come this year?
Lopez: Yes.
Expressions: Any suggestions for changes ASB should make on future rallies?
Lopez: No, I have no suggestions they are all good.
