As the 2016-2017 school year begins, those of us who have not graduated have begun to wonder what the incoming batch of freshmen will be like. Will they be annoying and loud, or will they be surprisingly courteous and not block every single pathway on campus? Regardless of the result, we can be sure that certain students like incoming freshman Cheyenne Miller will automatically steal our hearts. Expressions got an exclusive interview with Miller about coming into high school and her future endeavors.
Expressions: Are you excited for next year? Why?
Incoming freshman Cheyenne Miller: I am excited but also slightly nervous. I’m excited because of the new experiences and nervous because these are my last few years of school.
Expressions: What are you looking forward to next year at San Luis Obispo High School?
Cheyenne Miller: I am mostly looking forward to joining the band and color guard.
Expressions: Do you have any siblings at SLOHS?
Cheyenne Miller: Yes. One. [Junior] Ayanna Miller.
Expressions: What activities do you do outside of school?
Cheyenne Miller: Outside of school I do aerial silks, Lyra, and hoops.
Expressions: What is aerial silks?
