On Friday, March 19, the San Luis Obispo High School’s boy’s baseball sheds burst into flames around 10:00 pm. The sheds held all of the baseball teams’ baseballs, bases, two tractors and racks and drags, which are used to set up the field before the game. It is stated by the team that they lost $25,000 worth of baseball equipment.
“We don’t know who did it, but we know it was on purpose,” said senior varsity boys baseball player Connor Maydole.
When Maydole was asked how he felt about the shed burning, down he stated, “It kind of sucks. It was a week before our league starts so it’s a major setback and it’s going to be hard to get back to normal until our insurance allows us to get all of our stuff back.”
Expressions wishes the baseball team luck in their upcoming games and we hope that whoever caused this is exposed.
